At our office, Dr. Daniel will do everything he can to save and preserve your teeth. Sometimes, conservative methods will not work and the best long-term option is to remove your tooth.
Tooth extractions at Foothills Dentistry are a common dental procedure. Although most extractions are simple and straightforward, some may be more complicated. Complications can arise if the tooth is broken, infected, or impacted. Impacted teeth are those that have not erupted through the gum line or have only partially erupted. The most common type of impacted tooth is the third molar, also known as the wisdom tooth. Tooth extractions may also be necessary if you have an overcrowded mouth or if you need to make room for orthodontic treatment. Local anesthesia will be used to numb the area around the tooth. For more complex cases, general anesthesia may be necessary. Recovery from a tooth extraction is usually fairly quick and uncomplicated. However, it is important to follow your dentist's instructions for care after the procedure to promote healing and avoid complications.

Yes we do. Our office is a Care Credit provider. CareCredit is a credit card designed for health and wellness needs. It can be used to pay for dental treatment that is not covered by insurance. It allows you to make monthly payments with flexible options.
We file your insurance as a courtesy, and you pay the difference between your insurance's allowed coverage and the total cost. We are not in-network with any insurance companies. All this means is that our office is in control of our own prices. Our staff does an excellent job maximizing your insurance benefits.
